Workshop “The Allupo Project” and livestock show.
For the publishing of the results achieved through the performance of the direct actions of the project, there will be a livestock exhibition, within which will be presented results of the project “Allupo”. The workshop will include the intervention of Public Authority, operating in the sphere of conservation in the Puglia Region (Alta Murgia National Park, Puglia Region – Parks Office, etc.) of national experts in the field of conservation of natural resources and biodiversity who have already put into practice the good practices acquired in other projects and the partnership that has actively carried out the project actions. During the event the farmers will be invited to exhibit the local animal species of Puglia region (Bovine: “podolic” cow; Equine: “Murgese” horse and donkey from Martina Franca; Ovine: sheep from Altamura, “Gentile di Puglia and Leccese”; Caprine: “Garganica and Jonica sheep) and the the agro-food products typical of the Apulian protected areas (cereal – “Senatore Cappelli” wheat, legume – black and read chickpea, honey, cheese).
